Hi there and welcome to The Imaginarium of Janet and Janikka. :D
Okay, let me give you a brief background as to the new name of my blog. By the way, isn't it amazing? Doesn't it sound cool? I for one, am so excited now that I finally have an interested name for my blog page. :D
Anyway, the reason I used Janet and Janikka on the blog title is because my published works and WIPs (works in progress) revolve around those two names.
Previously, as some of you may have been aware, I used to write for Precious Hearts Romances under Janikka Bernardo. I had eight titles bearing that pen name.
Last year, my breakthrough year, I became part of Lifebooks. I had to change my pen name since they might be issues with rights if I retain my initial pen name. So I had it changed into Janet Bernardo. I didn't drop my pseudo-surname though. I found it very convenient to just add Janet on my facebook account. So there.
Then came my publisher's request for me to be part of the Heaven Sent Collection. If you are wondering what that collection is all about, let me just give you a brief overview. It is actually a sub-genre of romance that focuses on God and His love for us. Most of the time, it would tackle issues on waiting for God's perfect time, True Love Waits, Purity and so on. Expect that it would have a lot of religious topics, different Bible verses and would talk about God's love in general, aside from bringing two people together to form an unbreakable bond according to God's design.
To make the story short, I wanted the Heaven Sent Collection to be special since it is a different sub-genre of romance. So the OC side of me took over.
But I really believe, it's the right time to reveal a part of who I am. Time to stop hiding from my pen names and just reveal the truth about myself. That is why I decided to use Janet Pafin. Oh, and here are the two books bearing that name. I hope you could grab a copy once it's available on bookstores nationwide.

My other pen name, Janet Bernardo, will still be available for my other mainstream romance titles. I just wanted the Heaven Sent collection to be distinct than the rest. :D
