The Chase Dilemma

Now playing: Like A Knife by Secondhand Serenade

Hi there and welcome to my blog. Charus! I'm having mixed feelings now with what I am writing. I am currently writing Chapter Five for Chase's story. My silent editor constantly barges every time I add a scene and I tried hard to ward the voice off. It's already draining to write dramatic scenes and it would be much more difficult to constantly have a battle of wills on whether this sentence is good or bad or should I keep this or discard? Hell, I'm not even finish yet. This dilemma should arise after I put an end to the manuscript and I still have a long way to go.

Honestly, I'm not certain if I am on the right path. In the beginning, I thought I was. But towards the middle, something shifted, tilted the balance of things in my head. I hope I could sort this out tonight. Or else, my other option would be to rewrite half of Chapter Four and entire Chapter Five. That would be a gruesome torture I had yet to endure unless I can get out of this predicament. I have to talk to Chase again and ask him if this is how the story should go.

I'm preparing for the long night ahead. More food!
